Brief Synopsis:

Jun was born as the child of a young military woman. However, she couldn’t take care of him, and as such he was sent to live with his uncle and his family. When Jun was four years old he got a ‘little sister’, Kana. As he grew up, a lot of things distressed him and he ended up treating Kana very bad, as he didn’t know how to filter away all the anger he felt inside. So he beat her and called her names.

When he was thirteen and Kana ten, they were sent away on a summer camp that would change their lives forever. They met a group of kids that would end up being very important to them, and most of all, they encountered Zearth, Koemushi and Kokopelli. Zearth was a huge – 500 meters tall – robot, Koemushi was a strange, Mickey Mouse parody looking white robot mouse creature and Kokopelli was Zearth’s pilot; a man who made most of them enter a contract where they pledged themselves to pilot the Zearth themselves. One thing he didn’t tell them however; Zearth ran on the pilot’s life force, and one by one the children died after piloting the Zearth.

Over time Jun warmed up to Kana, met his biological mother only to lose her again, and when all was said and done he was the only remaining child left. The girl who had come from another world – as the purpose of Zearth and its battles against other humongous robots was to weed out the bad seeds, in this case universes - a world that had won their fight, was the last one to die. Her name was Yoko Machi and she loved Jun. He liked her as well, all though he never specified the way he liked her, and she was shot through the head right in front Jun’s eyes.
